Michael Crawford was approached by Oliver Reed to be in this movie and to play his brother. Michael at first was uneasy about accepting the role, the reason, he thought he did not resembled enough to believable he was his brother. Oliver Reed decided one evening to introduce his real brother to Michael Crawford. Michael was stunned how much he looked like Oliver Reed's real brother and he accepted the role.
