It's finally out on DVD, in a beautifully remastered edition, as part of the boxed set KEN RUSSELL AT THE BBC (available in both the UK and the USA - don't know about other countries). After watching it over and over again on a tape taken from an abysmal old print shown on US television in the '80s (not the original PBS airing), where many scenes were so dark they were indecipherable, the new DVD is a revelation - not to be missed.
