dining room/stripper scene is a hoot!

Saw this move back in 1967 when I was 12--scared the hell out of me, but what the heck I was 12 back then! Anyway just had to buy the Retromedia release--a nice diversion to watch on a winter afternoon.

I thought the scene where Jada does the strip show was a real hoot! The Captain breaks the LP record (remember LPs?) "There's one like you in every crowd!", Jada wails. Then smashes Tim's whiskey jug ("Now I'll NEE-ver make it!" Bill Thurman cries.)

I don't know if it's because so much of the dialogue in the rest of the movie is so leaden, but this 2-3 minute scene really gives me a laugh and really seems to sparkle.
