I watched a clip of this movie on youtube but it cut off right when Jerusha was giving birth. Just wanting to know what happens to the baby bacuse it was a breech and all. I'd watch the movie myself to find out but I really don't have time now so I'm begging you to end my suspence!!! :)

That scene, at the time of the film's release, was considered shocking and, in some areas of the USA, almost disallowed because of the realism.
Jerusha has a baby boy--he is healthy and strong. But watch the movie in its entirety on VHS (the dvd cuts out almost 40 minutes from the original road show version--and the scene right after the breech birth scene is one that is often eliminated; and it's crucial to both the mood of the film and the problem that exists between Abner and his ability to express love.

After Jerusha screams, it goes to black. Then only her face is lit while Abner says, "Jerusha, Jerusha, It's a boy." The light comes up on her in the bed, listless from the pain. The key point actually comes a few minutes later when Iliki says that "number one midwife" would have killed a breach baby, then removed it from the mother's womb.
