The Elmer Bernstein score

Since seeing the movie for the first time today, I've been trying to figure out where I've heard the theme before -- in a commercial? On Turner Classic Movies? Does anyone have an idea?

There is a brief Bernstein leitmotiv used in the main title of this film which the composer also used in HUD and THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD.

"Thank you, thank you--you're most kind. In fact you're every kind."

I thought Alfred Newman did "Greatest Story"??

"That's imitation wood, the Wishbone dressing just eats right through it!"

Yes, Newman did GSET, but there is a passage in Bernstein's score that resembles Newman's main theme - possibly because both Newman and Bernstein were borrowing from Barber's 'Adagio.'

I spent some summers in Hawaii back in the 70's, and the main theme from this film was used as the theme music for one of the television stations there. They even made up lyrics for it: "One of the good things - about Hawaii - is wonderful ____" (can't remember the station name).
