shareThat is cool! I just came from seeing a beautiful print of this film at the Egyptian Theater in LA (full version). The speaker before the film pointed out that this was Bette Midler's first performance on film, but you have to look fast. So I knew to keep an eye out and I did notice her in two brief shots in the background on the boat. He also said it was Gene Hackman's first film, too.
