Saw this film on tv years ago (thank you BBC)but had to go to work and missed the end.

So can somebody tell me how it ends? I guess they guy gives up his war because it is getting nowhere and is screwing up his life?

I must try and get a dvd sometime because it was an interesting story,how could a fascist dictator survive in europe until 1975?

How could people go on holiday to Spain after what had gone on? I guess they did not know or did not care?

You should get the DVD, it's an interesting movie.

I'm not going to spoil you the ending, but I can tell you he doesn't give up his work in the resistance.

This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.

This film is way too hard to find. I have seen it three times thanks to the local film archive but that's about it. I just have to wait until the film makes it to their program again.
