Classical music at the begining

Yes, at the begining of the movie, in opera when Louis de Funès is having a rehearsal, does anybody know what is the name of the piece that they are rehearsing? It sounds to me as a very well known classical music piece, but I don't know what it is.

here's preview sample:

The music is extracted from Berloz' La Damnation de Faust. This is the Marche Hongroise movement.

I would highly recommend Deutsche Grammophon (1974) release with Boston orchestra and Seiji Ozawa. Not perfect (nothing is) but very seductive interpretation .

What about Sir Colin Davis? I believe her recorded it twice. Very fine Berlioz interpreter.
