Why did they redub the voices for the 50th anniversary DVD? The new voice overs are terrible, and one of them is the most annoying whiny voice!

It actually wasn't a "new" redub.

It is a terrible dub. And I'm pretty sure I know which voice you speak of being the most annoying. I guess that voice actor thought constipated monkey was the best voice to go with for that character? Pretty bad.

Is the one that you're complaining about the one that sounds like a parrot? Because if it is, I hate that guy. And the thing is, when you watch it in Japanese, he's actually got a pretty deep voice.

It's not "new", as others have explained, but it IS the inferior dub. I wish they would have used the more widely known/remembered dub for the DVD, the one my old VHS copy uses. Those voice actors were SO much better.
