Best Godzilla Suit

IMO Godzilla vs Biollante has the best Godzilla suit.

he looked like the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street in this one, lol.

it was okay, better than the one with the wobbly jaw in Mothra Vs Godzilla.

It doesn't help that it's not very well photographed, but it was remarkably poor. The face looked like a kid's papier mache fancy dress outfit with little expression and the body was rather flabby. It looked like it had been knocked up in a hurry.

I think the Godzilla suit in both Monster Zero and Godzilla vs the Sea Monster is one of the worst of the entire series, with an ugly, frog-like mouth, bulbous eyes, poorly-defined musculature, and eyeholes in the neck that are easily visible far too much of the time. Only the overly-cute suit from Godzilla vs Megalon with a puppy dog face and the hideously malformed suit from Son of Godzilla strike me as worse.

ok some of you guys are making it sound like it's worse than son of godzilla and king kong vs. godzilla. i'm afraid i must object. paper mache put together in a hurry? you simply must be confusing this with son of godzilla. that one makes me cry. in king kong vs. godzilla, he looked like a certain human body part i won't say out loud.

frog-like mouth, bulbous eyes? let's face it, he's a reptile. it's really his eyelids and not his eyes that are bulbous. you must be a huge fan of the the 80's and 90's suits. for me, they are too sinister and dark, giving the heisei godzilla a glenn beck feel.

eyes in the neck? you must've been really ambitious about finding ways to knock the movie. i grew up with this movie and have never noticed.

i would honestly say this one and the mechagodzilla ones are the best looking, while the original suit gets kudos for being the creepiest. maybe there is no difference in the personal awards i give them. this suit gave godzilla a lot of human like personality. he gets very pissed, infatuated, and even sleepy. this movie has some of the most memorable closeups of him, like when he's eyeing daiyo, having a stare-down with ebirah, and even when his eyes open up in the cave. it can't hurt that the trouble found him and woke him up out of a cave in this movie when he's usually out and about looking for trouble. in this movie he's caught off guard, when he might otherwise be sleeping. so, we see him in a state of mind where he has just woken up and is wondering what's going on, a lot like we humans are when we have just woken up. this movie required a lot of personality and emotion from the suit.
