I really want the Rodan/WotG combo pack, but i'm just wondering if I can watch War without having seen FCtW first. I'd get that movie too if there was a currently in print dvd available.

shareIt works fine as a stand alone film. The US version makes no mention of the other movie. It really feels more like a spiritual successor than a direct sequel. If you enjoy this one though, you might want to check out Frankenstein Conquers the World. The pacing isn't as good as this one, but the fight between "Frankenstein" and Baragon is one of the best in the Toho library.
