3. why didn't palmer just give the documents to the israelis? he had plenty of time.
I don't remember, it's been ages since I saw this. Now I need to watch it again on the used DVD that I got at an exorbitant price after it went out of print.
share1. Palmer (not his real name) was duped by his own boss to pick Kreutzmann. Ross (like Stok) wanted to cool tensions along the Wall, and take care of his own dirty laundry at the same time.
2. Just some old pensioner in East Berlin, whose body could then be re-patriated to the West. Those two Hitler Youths probably picked him out for Kreutzmann.
3. He would have been killed twenty seconds later by Johnny Vulkan (AKA Paul Louis Broum). Ross had already marked Vulkan for death, but Palmer (not his real name) wanted to be a spy, not an assassin.
