SPOILER ALERT: Ending
At the end when Col. Ross offers Palmer the £800 expense money to buy a new car, to which Palmer stubbornly refuses saying he prefers to walk. I know that Palmer may interpret the £800 as blood money, but can anyone elaborate on Col. Ross's expression? Is he offended by Palmer's response? Or is he in a way proud of him and his honesty?
I wish to hear your thoughts.
