Where was this movie shot? It looks like Ascot Raceway in California. There is no info. on this site. Does anybody know?

shareI knew it was Ascot when I saw all the motorcycle billboards and the pond in the infield.
They should have never shuttered that place- so much history there. As far as I know, the land was never developed anyway after the economy took a downturn in the '90s.

problem is, Chris Agajanian didn't own the land - he leased it! His lease was up in 1990, and by that time, the land was worth too much to be used as a race track - even though the once adjacent landfill was also underneath it!
It's now an auto insurance auction site. At the corner of Vermont and 190th, there a commercial building that at one time, was sinking into the former landfill!
