Blood Transfusion?

They give her a compete blood transfusion in her home?
They don't even try to find out what blood type she is, assuming any blood is all she gets? Shirley, Francois Truffaut should have known to get that right, especially since it's a futuristic society?
Big movie goof there.

My guess is that they had the blood type on file, as part of her personal record. In a society that is THAT closely monitored (where the TV is interactive that's pretty scary!), the probably keep a VERY close eye on their citizenry re: blood type, sexual identity, age, I.Q., dietary preferences, and probably how many times married couples get it on each week.

Or, it could be artificial blood, which would be more like Universal Donor blood, and wouldn't necessarily depend upon a person's blood type.

In the book they pumped her stomach, here I always assumed it was like in Family Matters when Steve had to run his blood through a coffee filter to screen out the excessive iron he had in him.

I felt that they were more interested in getting Montag out of the bedroom and getting her clothes off. Why did they have to undress her to do a blood transfusion. I always assumed they had there way with her. Notice the one guy straightening out his hair using his box as a mirror. I would have liked to have seen the ambulance. It was probably from the F+B* Ambulance Company.

*F+B from the movie "Mother, Jugs and Speed". One of the drivers attempted to rape a female college girl on the way to the hospital, as she was unconscious.
