haha Lino Ventura looks like Robert De Niro at the beginning of the film, a fat De Niro that is. especially during the prison escape scenes... haha
"What if there is no tomorrow? there wasn't one today...!"
And when he had the moustache it was like a porkier version of De Niro in Brazil!
I just saw this film and can see it must really have influenced Michael Mann for Heat. Similar characters, plot, pacing and even the walking out on a loved one in 30 seconds flat when he felt the heat coming around the corner.
