Disjointed

Anna Karina said in an interview Godard had made this movie at the same time as "Made in U.S.A.".

Before seeing this film, but after seeing that one, I read this one is far superior, though it seemed that this one was even less of a conventional "movie" than the other. It does seem that they both suffer from an inability to remain coherent throughout, at least to anyone watching who does not come from French society in the 60's.

On the DVD there is a short film detailing specific mentions to books past which I found very helpful in understanding what Godard was attempting to convey, though I still am not completley sure.
