Whispering grated a bit on me

Yeah I hate Godard's voice and wish he didnt narrate his films. Also, since his personality is pretty alienating it just makes me cynical of his philosophy when he narrates it.
Anyways I wouldnt reccommend you see Alphaville then :p

I hated more the loud and irritating noises that appeared after the whispers. Cars, machines, guns, etc. So loud.
shareThe Alphaville narraration, even though it sounds like a constant burping noise, was less annoying than Godard's whispers in this movie, funnily enough. Does Godard purposely make his movies as unenjoyable to watch as possible, just to appear anti consumerism? Out of his many movies that I've seen, only about 3 are watchable.
