Cut out scenes?

The version I saw recently had a scene suspiciously cut.
Bulldog and Irma is in a room in the castle (about 70 minutes into the movie). Both are dressed and talking around. Then there is a sudden cut and he is holding a bottle and she is has lost her dress. Both still talking like nothing special. What happened??? It couldn't have been anything sexual or violent been cut out. Every character smoke, drink and make out all the time so what could be so politically incorrect that it would need removing?

The movie title shown at the beginning is "HEISS!" then "heisse katzen". German sounding but no reference on IMDB. It is original US soundtrack. I noted IMDB has the DVD release as 3 minutes shorter than the original release.
Anyone?

I know this is 2 years after your post, but I'm watching the very scene you are writing about. I don't have the sound up on this, so I don't know what is being said, but it looks like Irma is flirting with Bulldog. Bulldog unzips the back of her dress and then she steps into the bathroom. She drops the dress and stands there for quite some time in her underwear before coming back into the room. Maybe the lenght of time just standing there in her push-up bra was enough to get the scene cut.

This movie is surprisingly good. The gals are pretty good as the killers too. The only thing bad about it is the terrible Tom Jones wanna-be singing an awful Thunderball-like title song.

Imdb lists a runtime of 101 min and original certification from West-Germany, (which means before the 80s) the required age for the movie is 18 years.
Nowadays dvds have a runtime of 94 minutes and the movie is considered suitable for 12 year olds.
Looks pretty foul to me, where are the lost 7 minutes.........

Tom Jones wanna-be? Now I'm mortified, (even though your message is almsot 3 yrs old!) The singers were The Walker Bros (led by Scott Walker) who had a lot of success here in the UK. Scott wrote the song for the movie purely because he loved the "permanence" of movie titles. Obviously I loved it!

I confirm that the german DVD release of "Deadlier than the male" titled "Heisse Katzen" and edited by Koch Media has 40 seconds cut (is the scene with Elke Sommer in the bathroom). I haven't the slightest idea why this has been left out, as nothing special is shown apart from Elke's luscious breasts in her tight bra. (Well this is really something very special:)

It's a real pity since the transfer on this release is even better than the DVD UK edition by Network. By the way this UK DVD is uncut and has better extras.

That bedroom scene aside, there have been numerous cuts in this movie for various audiences.

The old TV cut deleted the airliner exploding in mid-air (pre-title sequence, with the word "Deadlier") and cut to the title card "Deadlier Than the Male". Also the shot of the building exploding is missing, with a cut to the smoky aftermath rather than showing the actual explosion.

It's odd that the old VHS release is missing an entire sequence that is still there in the old TV cut: Drummond's nephew picks up a girl playing darts in a pub (Jill Banner, who appeared in many Jack Webb TV episodes, Dragnet and Adam-12, etc.). She is completely missing from the VHS release.

I just watched the same cut version you are talking about and it makes no sense why it was cut!

The edits disrupts the entire scene and its obvious there was a massive scene cut.

They are LITERALLY talking to each other one scene, and in the very next scene she is standing there in her bra and a freaking towel around her waist!

Whats ludicrous is there are quite a few scenes of beautiful, curvy women in tiny bikinis, but seeing them in their underwear was a "step to far" for whatever prude edited and SHOT this?

It happens again in the end scene when undressing the girl while looking for the bomb supposedly planted on her, they only showed her one leg from the lower thigh down.

Makes no sense
