The most beautiful interesting woman ever (in films)?.....I think she was.

She actually was very impressive in this movie. The only one never over-acting. (But I loved Stander composition too.) Beautiful, wild, feline, childish, a dream and a nightmare of a woman!

Have you seen her in Truffaut's "La peau douce"?

I agree completely. I saw her in The Soft Skin in college and never forgot her. I finally saw Cul-De-Sac tonight and it was interesting. She was the best part.

Its a shame she died a year after this film came out. She probably would of been a much bigger star.

i love her sister in the same way. such a pity she died so young.
i first saw her in "le peau doce" and she was astonishing.

Francoise was an exciting & beautiful actress who didn't just rely on her looks. What a loss.
