Ultimately, I see no point whatsoever for this film. If the wife had been younger/hotter, the nude scenes would've at least been rewarding. But no.
A better question: What is the point of your review ? Because judging from this and your other worthless comments, you are a sub-mental philistine who should limit yourself to watching "Fast & Furious 85" et al.

Also after the first hour I couldn't take it anymore, I had to finish watching the movie using fast forward a couple of times wanting to know where it was going cause it seemed to go nowhere. Spoilers here: I knew that the big gangster would die in the end, which happened. The stupid french woman asked her husband to kill the gangster since the beginning of the movie, and after he did, she treats him like a crazy fool, quits with another man and the poor husband, traumatized, ends up alone...SO WHAT WAS THE POINT OF MAKING THIS MOVIE 2 D*** HOURS LONG???
Visually beautiful, excellent acting from everyone, my only bad (major) point, the scenes are too long, too much blah blah. I would have made it 1h30 min long with more substance and lots more dark humour. 5/10

This is a fun film. The tone is similar to that of the Coen Brothers. The characters are great, the setting is unique & the plot deals with gangsters & hostages. Françoise Dorléac is gorgeous & Lionel Stander is hilarious. Perhaps you're not enjoying the film's absurd, Black Comedy?
Curious that people call Theresa "stupid" because she was incredibly calculating & cunning.
