Anchor Bay has announced that they will be releasing this on DVD in late 2005. I know it's already November so they better get a move on!

Well now it's March and there is still no DVD release date. Hopefully Anchor Bay can hurry up and release it already.

The Friends of Eddie Coyle needs to be released on DVD!

There's still no release date for this film on Anchor Bay's website. I don't know what's causing the hold-up. Maybe there's a problem with the transfer, though I believe AB have access to the original negative.

I have a Japanese import which is very good and unless the new Anchor Bay disc is loaded with extras I need no reason to upgrade as the widescreen transfer is excellent and the sound is in English.I got it off ebay.

I bought the Anchor Bay dvd last week, and its very well put together. Definitely worth the wait. The movie is presented in widescreen presentation, there's a trailer, and a brief "production notes" Sergio Corbucci bio. Glad I found it. The Hellbenders may not be Corbucci's best, but it's still very enjoyable and one spaghetti western fans will enjoy.
