Virgil Ross animation in 'Clippety Clobbered'

Ross animates Wile E. Coyote in the "hand-jets" sequence. At 4:43, Wile E.'s right ear tilts as he makes his jet fuel. At 5:12, his eyes go wide in horror and his ears rise as he rushes at the camera; in the next shot we see an onrushing truck.

Moving a character's ears during otherwise-static scenes (as at 4:43) was a Ross trademark seldom seen during his work for Rudy Larriva. Ross would let Wile E.'s ears be much more active in "Soup or Sonic" which was directed by Chuck Jones.
