I always thought that considering the crimes the characters commit the title should have been The Bad, the Worse, and the Worst.
Or maybe someone might consider that the three main characters all act so bad there is no point in trying to figure out their relative badness and thus it could be called The Bad, the Bad, and the Bad.

shareI have never heard anybody call The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly a satire before. I think it's got great commentary on greed and war and things, and it certainly calls into question how we think about morality, but satire...? Can you elaborate...?

But I think the exageration in the behaviour of almost every character towards the dark side of human nature its on purpose
Leone has called himself a pesimist before, but I think this goes even deeper, this film its like a crazy experiment on human behaviour
