Silly Romp
Funny parts, too. Whatever else the producers intended as entertainment, playing "Look for the Stunt Double" only adds to the fun.
The great Bob Hope was coasting here, but even so, he is hilarious. Phyliss Diller is a hoot. Elke Sommer is a real sport and a doll. And Marjorine Lord was a beautiful woman. I can't say I ever saw her in much, but she always seemd to be a reliable if not versitile actress.
I've only ever seen this on TV so I don't know how it looked on the Big Screen, but I always thought the camera framing was horrible. Too much headroom, seemingly wanting to show off the ceilings in the rooms. What was with that?
