Great Sexual Innuendo

This movie did have some really subtle great lines. Like the one where Phyllis creeps up behind Bob Hope at the dinner table. He says what are we having or something like that and Phyllis leans in and says, "Just what you like, Hot Chicken"...I also love the scene where Phyllis is eavesdropping on the phone call and she is holding a banana. Elke Sommer says she is all "Naked and Hungry" whereby Phyllis squeezes the banana and it pops out of it's skin and lands on the floor.

this movie is worth it alone just to view elke summers legs, and her too cute as a button facial expressions. she is the epitome of sex appeal, without the nudity. I just could not take my eyes off the extended, long scenes of her in nothing but a man's shirt. as a little kid when it came out, I was almost shocked at the amount of skin shown. hope is hope, I loved him as a kid, he does have timing. I loved the crack where the cub scouts were hanging around his window, and he just says "communists!"

I know that this is old, but rather than start a new thread, I'll just tack onto this one.

I just saw this movie on Netflix, and I agree that it's a great movie--both the humor and Elke Summer's legs. I'm actually surprised that they let so much skin be shown back then.

I would like to tack on also regarding Elke Sommer.

As great as the many leg and body shots of her in this movie, there are even better ones of her in "The Wicked Dreams of Paula Schultz" Not as many as in this movie, but better ones.

For 1966, it really worked!
