Great movie!

Hey!

This is a movie well made!
A story that touches everybody.
One of the best thing in the film was the song. It´s WONDERFUL!
And deserved the Oscar...of course!

10 out of 10.

Yeah, I agree. It's definitely one of my favourites. Funny how the ending can be emotional when the relationship being shown is now between two humans, but between a human and an animal. It definitely has it's moments. But right from start to finish, it's one movie we can't take our eyes off. If I was on the Oscar jury, I would have given it a couple of Oscars more for Best Film and Best Director. Even the acting, music etc, everything was just so perfect. Fantastic movie altogether !

SPOILERS AHEAD

I cry three times when I see this movie. When she comes back starving, when she comes back with the cubs at the end and just as I'm drying off after that, when the song starts.

i seen this movie when I was little & had to be removed from theather cause I cried the second they said they had to give her up, I was 7 years old. On my 21st birthday my sister got me the vhs tape, same thing. At age 30 i finally seen the whole thing & cried like an infant when Joy says " She was born free & deserves to live free" as for the song.... my cousin teases me & starts singing it & every time i cry. If you thought this was a tear jerker, see the sequal Living Free,Elsa dies.

Life is a lemon & I want my money back.

I also love this movie . Tonight i just bought it on DVD and am hoping to watch it tonight. I loved this movie so much I named my cat after the star , ELSA, My cat was yellow and she was a very special cat. Last year she died of cancer so It will be very hard to watch the movie without thinking of my cat.

Beside the three times mentioned, I also cry when she thinks she's riding with elsa for the trip to the zoo (even though I know she doesn't go,lol), and the waterworks really start when they leave her for the week and she tries to chase the truck. OMG!!! I'd NEVER be able to do what they did, somehow I would have lived somewhere she could have stayed with me! Great movie, a fav.

I never saw it in the theater, but I saw it many times on tape as a kid in the 80s and always cried every time.
