Than examining a set of photos capturing a series of events, arranging them in to some sort of narrative, and examining them in more and more micro-detail searching for truth, only to find the image becomes more blurry, grainy, and abstract as you get dig further and further in? Yet, despite the abstraction of the image, you still extract meaning from it and see something.

So yeah, well done Antonioni, I remain ever fascinated by your cinematic prowess. Although I think the Monica Vitti quartet is more complex visually and psychologically, Blow-Up is certainly a worthy addition to the Antonioni canon.
