While this film has never been cut, it has been darkened especially in the Garden of Eden scenes. I'm watching a portion of it right now on TCM, starting with the Cain and Abel scene, and it seems like this is brighter and more defined than my Blu-Ray. I saw this when it first came out in 1966 on a Cinerama/D-150 curved screen. The scenes in the Garden of Eden were not as dark as they are today. While the use of shadows was employed for tasteful nudity, you could see what was going on. Now, you can barely see anything. Yes, you could see the colors of the snake's skin in the tree. Puritanism coming out again? This was one of the most tasteful films ever presented. Restore it.
