lol it's because it's got a lot of comedy and tongue in cheek style.

If you didn't find anything in this movie to be funny, then you probably lack a sense of humor. It's got so many laugh out loud moments, that it's hard to believe they weren't made to elicit laughter from the audience. I mean, the obvious rubber shark near the beginning of the movie, Batman trying to get rid of the bomb, the elevator scene where Batman is reading the "up" sign, etc., that's just comedy gold right there. I'm telling you, this is a funny movie from beginning to end.

And in case you're wondering, I definitely prefer this cheesy but wildly entertaining Batman movie (I'm also a fan of the show) over the dull Nolan Dark Knight trilogy.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

Because the 60s live-action Batman was intended as an absurdist comedy. And it's a very good one.

Agree. It's tongue in cheek funny.

Because they were trying to choose a genre to list it under, but they were busy trying to get rid of a bomb and only reached the Cs. Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb

love how they had so many options

I don't think it would make for a very convincing drama.
