one of the worst films of all time.

so bad that it's the mother of all turkeys.

reply

You obviously just don't get it.

Thanks Ants. Thants

reply

Yes, he doesn't get it.

reply

This ass clown probably likes Batman & Robin

reply

Yes, this doesn't even count as a Batman film. Completely missed the point of the character.

reply

Without this movie ( and show ) the batman ( and quite possibly all comic book media ) we all know today would not exist. You can say it's not your preferred version of the character but at least acknowledge what it did for the character.

reply

Clueless OP. But I have to say I liked Batman and Robin. In my opinion that movie most closely resembles this one. I prefer Batman over the Dark Knight. Batman & Robin was also campy.

...............ZING!

reply

WRONG!

Batman was already around for about twenty years before this movie raped him so bad, they needed Frank Miller, Tim Burton and the 90s animated show to save him.

I don't give a f*@K about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

It is obvious that you haven't read a lot of older Batman comics. The 1960's Batman film reflected the comics quite well at the time. Batman began in 1939 rather dark, but by the mid 1950's was quite camp with characters like Batwoman, Bat Mite and Bat Hound. The campiness and over the top plots and villans were prevalent until about 1069.

reply

i think you may have missed the point because theres about 5 million different tone batmans in the comics an this is another one

reply

Yeah, one of the *beep* ones.

I don't give a f*@K about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

Batman has two sides, one is the dark brooding character trying to avenge the death of his parents, but on the other side, its a man in a bat suit fighting someone who looks like a penguin. Thinking there's nothing silly about Batman is delusional.

reply

This movie was a work of art, just like an Andy Warhol painting is a work of art.

reply

I enjoyed it a lot. I even purchased the blu ray. Now I want to see the tv series.

reply

Funny you would say that, when "Batman and Robin" is a much stronger contender for that title, along with "Catwoman".

But this movie was brilliant, like the TV series it was based on.

reply

That's opposite of what the post above yours said.
