So where's the dvd for this movie?

Hi Ann, This movie has been released in Wide Screen on DVD in Germany. If you have a multi-regional DVD player and a multi-system TV (which can receive the European PAL signal) you should have no problems viewing it. Available from Warner Brothers Archive Collection, and AMAZON; both seem to be the same - made on demand (i.e. DVD-R? but official).

Yes, they are the same. It's an "official" release, but made on the cheap with no bonus features on a purple disc that probably won't stand the test of time – just as this film doesn't. Rather than paying the premium price, I found it at my library.
