Quick nude scene question?

In the very opening scene, which I just saw this weekend on TCM, Eleanor Parker is in bed watching Stuart Whitman on TV and when she turns, she exposes her breast and nipple for a split second, but (thanks, DVR!) there it is! There was a spate of movies back in the late 60s/early 70s in which A- and B-list glam stars of the 50s like Deborah Kerr ("The Gypsy Moths"), Dana Wynter ("If He Hollers,Let Him Go!") did a brief bit of nudity while there was still some bloom left on the rose. I didn't realize EP was one of those. I think Jean Simmons may be on that list with Spartacus. I'm not talking full blown (no pun intended) nude scenes, but a brief almost "if you blink, you'll miss it") scenario. Can anyone think of any more like that and if so, with whom?

Thanks for the heads-up. Sorry I can't think of any others in that era... unless Janet Leigh in Psycho's shower scene counts!

BTW, any nudity you (think you) see in Psycho is a body double, not Janet Leigh.

Jayne Mansfield did a famous nude scene in a bathtub in 'Promises! Promises!' in 1963 but I don't know how much of it made it into the film. Playboy ran stills from the scene at the time.... she was definitely nude - fully.

Though you are probably too young to have seen it, Capucine has an even longer "nip slip" shot in "North to Alaska," in the bath tub scene with the dog. I thought my eyes were deceiving me (I was 12 at the time), but this was later confirmed. The shot was remasked and reshot before general release (I saw it firt run). They did, however, retain the shot where John Wayne loses his toupee.

I have to disagree...I saw that North To Alaska while stationed overseas in Korea, a 16mm print and I thought I saw that flash, too. But years later I recorded it on TCM on my DVR and in playing it back in slo-mo, you can see she's wearing either a moleskin bra (moleskin was one of the 'workarounds' that they employed to simulate nudity, for actresses --like Rhonda Flemin-- who wanted to 'appear' nude without actually getting nude -- or just a bathing suit and it's the edge of the suit that mimics a nip slip.
