why the name change?
The original title is An American Dream.
shareAccording to wikipedia, it flopped as An American Dream. The studio changed the title to See You in Hell, Darling out of desperation; don't think it worked out well anyway.
shareIt's still odd that the IMDb would list it under the changed title because every other reference source lists it under its original title, "An American Dream."
It was even nominated for a Best Song Academy Award using the original title. Besides, "See You in Hell, Darling" is a ludicrous title.
