5.5 Only? You've got to be kidding.

Maybe the public domain version deserves a 5.5, but the version seen on the uncut Severin DVD deserves at least a 6.5 or maybe even a 7.

I've only seen the P.D. version... And I thought is was great.... But is it worth my time to buy the same movie with an extra 10 minutes in it? What am I missing?

Trust me,

I've seen both versions but I forgot which scenes are missing from the PD. It probably fleshes out the story more, plus its in better quality WS. Also you get the half hour barbara steele inteview.

I find that the restored Severin version (which has 25 minutes added to it) makes the movie drag on in certain places. The PD version, though it looks fairly worn out, is more streamlined and has a faster pace.

I did buy the Severin DVD only because I was at fan convention and I bought an autographed copy from Barbara Steele herself.

I've only ever seen the public domain version but I like it. I give it a 7.5/10.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.
