Interesting trivia point
In this movie Michael Cain plays the character Alfie and then years later in the movie "Batman Begins" he plays the character Alfred who is much wiser and more mature.
shareI found it more interesting that Caine, near the beginning of his career, played a character involved in the decision of an illegal abortion for someone, while later in his career, he played a doctor who performed them (The Cider House Rules).
I couldn't stop thinking of that when I saw Alfie recently on TV.
That's right I had forgotten he played an abortionist in Cider House Rules.
