Those poachers made no sense!!!

Now I knew poachers were (and are) pseudo-human slime, but seriously, what was the point of tripping/killing all the zebras with rope just to end up setting the perfectly in tact carcasses on fire? Sure, the zebras set on fire were most likely from another troop of poachers, but how incredibly sensless and wastefull. It's so different hearing about all that stuff, and actually seeing it.
