It was called "Ultraman: Tiga", the U.S. translated version of the original Japanese retelling of Ultraman from the early nineties, I think. It is now available on DVD, but in the original Japanese which is far superior because most of the storylines were of a more mature nature. The American version was often re-edited for a more kid-friendly, Saturday morning type show.
