Does anybody know what breed of dog is he supposed to be???

He looks to most closely resemble a beagle, possible a nod to that other famous beagle, Snoopy.

I Agree With the poster below you. I think that he is a Beagle. I have no proof but I think he is.

I'm goin' with wolf, based on the characteristics.

"Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!"

I think he was supposed to be modeled after Snoopy, so I would say Beagle. And yes Riff Raff was a Wolf.
