As I Watch Cameron's Movie on TBS, I Have to Ask:
why did Allen change the names of the officers of the Titanic? Didn't he read A NIGHT TO REMEMBER?

Actually, Captain Smith is never referred to as Malcolm during the episode, only during the credits. It would have helped if the second officer was called Lightoller (yes I know I missspelled it).
I liked the Cameron movie in the theaters but it was WAY longer than necessary. The Definitive version of the Titantic story would be Walter Lord's book A Night to Remember although it is necessary remember that the ship was thought to have sunk in tact and not broken in two pieces.
