Visitors from Beyond the stars

I recently saw the scene where Apaches wipe out some cavalry.

The way i remembered it the cavalry dismounted and formed a circle around a small tree and where massacred.

So when I was researching for a book about How The West wasn't Won I looked for such a scene in dozens or hundreds of westerns and never recognized it.

Seeing it again I noticed that I remembered it wrong and so might have seen the movie it was from without recognizing it.

So does anyone know which Twentieth Century Fox western movie filmed in color before 1966 that clip was taken from?
