It was from an episode called 'Alf's Broken Leg'. You can find it on the Network D.V.D. 'Till Death Us Do Part - The Complete 1972 Series'.
That was also in the second episode of series 1 where Alf falls asleep in his armchair & Mike draws a face on his head.He then goes to get Rita to look at it.
Begfore Mike gets back Alf gets up, puts his hat on & goes to the pub. When the regulars crack up he thinks that for the first time ever they are laughing at his jokes about Mike's long hair.
