some of the weak ones - Empath, Spock's Brain - had they done more of the internal fighting like in Balance - could have made them stronger eps.

One of the best episodes for sure, and I love that version of the Romulan Bird of Prey. Simple but effective.

when is IMDB going to add a simple vote up thing - rather me agreeing with you verbosely ---- much of this ep is the tension between the romulans - gave them texture

This is the episode that has the guy who played Spock's father as the Romulan captain. I always think that maybe they are distantly related.

They implied that Romulans and Vulcans were related. I meant that maybe Spock and the Captain were related, since the captain looked just like his father.
