I saw a handful of episodes before, but I tried the first episode and now the unaired pilot, and they are both pretty interesting.

The worst episodes are in season three.

For sure. Season 3, had very few good episodes.

i like season 2 the best, but most episodes were laughably bad and cheesy. ie rock monster...

wish this show could be redone with modern technology. would be awesome.

I agree with you but I have grown to like season 3 a lot more since the pandemic. I bought the third season on blu ray, mostly to complete the original series, I started watching it and realized I was enjoying almost all the episodes. The only ones I didn't like are:

Spock's Brain
And the Children Shall Lead
The Way to Eden
The Empath (my least favorite of them all)
The Lights of Zetar

Even these bad episodes, though, I prefer to any episode of TNG in the first two seasons.

Though stupid as hell, The Way to Eden I will always like simply for:

Gonna crack my knuckles and jump for Joy,
I got a clean bill of health from Dr. McCoy.

They should have painted up the Enterprise like The Mystery Machine when they were in control. I know I would have.
