Wile E Coyote

Why doesn't Wile E get an ACME Tv dinner?

I turned 40 last month, and have been reflecting on my life alot recently as such, and I do remember watching these cartoons on Saturday mornings from the mid 1970s to mid 1980s. I never thought about that at all, the only real question I had about it was why was it set around so many cliffs. I did ask this out loud one day in the late 1970s, and my father said because the cliffs were a good thing for the coyote to fall off of. It occured to me then that was true-though it was just also geographically correct, as roadrunners and coyotes are native to this southwestern U.S. desert area. Still, these cartoons were a very big and fun part of my childhood.
