Put these cartoons on DVD dammit!

With the huge rise in popularity of the Superman character this year due to the release of Superman Returns, there are lots of Superman related stuff being released on DVD on top of the Superman stuff that is already available on DVD. There is the classic Max Fleischer cartoons from the 1940s, The Adventures Of Superman with George Reeves, the four Christopher Reeve movies, Supergirl, Superfriends, the 90s Superman cartoon series, Justice League, Lois and Clark and Smallville. But why is this one series left behind. Everytime I look for classis Superman cartoons to buy on DVD all I usually find are a dozen different editions of the Max Fleischer cartoons but not a single one from this series.

absolutely agree - where r the dvds !??

Region 1 release is tentative set at June 26, 2007. With The New Adventures of Batman to be released at the same time.

That release was only season 1 of the Superman cartoons. I would like to see Seasons 2 and 3 of the New Adventures of Superman released along with all 34 of the Adventures of Superboy episodes that aired with them.

I’m very glad that seasons 2 and 3 have been released since this post was made.
