When I was growing up, I watched a few of the shows and I would like to know if you can buy the Monroes or the whole season like you can other tv shows? I thought the show was very family friendly and now I would like my children and grandchildren to be able to watch them. Are there any reruns of the show on tv or cable?
I too, would like to know if you can purchase the TV series on VHS or DVD. I can remember growing up in Montana and every Sunday night, my family would gather around the TV set and watch it as a family. If it is not out on DVD yet, I hope someone will look into it to see what it would take to get the "Monroes" TV series released. If it has been released, please post it and let us know where to purchase it!!!! Thanks!
The show is not commercially available but I do have 25 of the 26 episodes, all in airdate order on home made dvds with menus. I am a trader of rare shows and do not sell, but if someone wanted them, a fellow fan of the show, I am sure I could find a way of making them available. email if interested:
Thanks for your message, and apologies, I only just saw it or I would have responded earlier. The one episode I am missing is number 22: Wild Bull. If there is any way you can help me out I would be most grateful - I can be reached directly at: [email protected]
Ive just come across the messages on the imdb boards for the Monroes. Is there any chance that you could possibly copy your 26 episodes for me please. I would gladly reimberse you. You can contact me at [email protected]
My grandfather had the bloodhounds used in the series so I have an intrest we even got a draft of one of the shows as a soveniour It is a shame they dont rerun something good and clean.
Did this show also use Great Pyrenees dogs? There was some show in the 60s that had one or two big white Great Pyrenees. Our neighbor owned them. I've searched IMDB and the internet trying to figure out which show it was.
Absolutely right. The large white Pyrenean Mountain dog was in the Monroes - I know this because my uncle had one at the time and it was often referred to as 'like the dog in the Monroes' to anyone who didn't know what the breed looked like.
yes. I saw The Monroes a at Walmart. Really surprised and pleased to see it there. I remember watching this when I was very young child. Bought the dvd.Watched the first episode so far. Guess I was feeling nostalgic!
