Watching the eps again after 40-years-or-so, I was struck by a few of the props on the show ---

Is there any back-story on that dummy the Monkees keep at their breakfast table ?

(Looks hilariously like Drew Carey !)

Also, any info on the large teacup they keep outside of their house ? The one with the mustache on it ??

Yep, they definitely do give him a name in a few eps !

No it was Mr. Schneider.

That's right. It was named after one of the producers. I always forget that.
