In the Mission Impossible universe, there are so many wonderfully named countries. What are your favorite Mission Impossible countries?
Mine are:
San Cordova, The Kingdom of Bakhan, Veyska, Karadan, and El Kabir.
Anyone else?
I'm partial to Lombuanda. It is neither Eastern European nor Latin American, but Sub-Saharan. And it sounds like it, too.
BTW in a war game exercise long ago and far away I was given command of a small country by the name of Kebir (not quite El Kabir, but close).
Seriously? How cool is that! Another MI country that I just remembered was West Victoria. Which anyone (especially we honorary IMF agents) know is South Africa.
BTW, there was an episode in season five when the IMF in which they made the skin of white colonel turn black overnight. I can't remember the name of the country in that episode. Do you know the name of it?

I taste the bitter lime I cut with my knife as I write: San Cristobal, the United People's Republic, and Nueva Tierra from S4's The Code. Three countries, one episode!
However, my all-time favorite *name* ever in M:I has to be the mind-control drug, "Voliticon."
This is so weird (in a good way)! I was watching season four last weekend!
I like the word Voliticon myself. I think that the English equivalent of that word is "Keeping Up With The Kardasians."
