Other dolls shows?

I was wondering if this is the show I used to remember from my childhood... in Argentina! Unfortunately the name "Mrs Beasley" doen't ring a bell (I saw the show dubbed in Spanish), but the doll with the square glasses and big eyes does, so does Anissa Jones' face.

I have been trying to remember something about the show I recall: a similar doll with huge glasses and eyes... but black hair tied in long braids with a name like "Priscilla", "Pamela" something or other.

Till yesterday, while looking at a mag I saw an ad for the "Mrs Beasley" doll. Finally! Now I had a name for a show to look it up on IMDB and the internet!

But although the kids in the show do match my recollection of the show, I still have the feeling that there was another show with another doll and another girl that would talk to her. The doll would be sitting in a (rocking?) chair a lot of the times.

Help me remember, since I do not have the DVDs (yet!): was there another doll show similar to this with a girly looking doll (not the grandma look Mrs Beasley has) and black hair, around this time?

On Brady Bunch in 1969, Cindy Brady had a doll called "Kitty Carryall" this doll was very popular at the time and alot of little girls had one.

The only other doll I can think of would be a doll on "The Addams Family"--Wednesday might have had a doll that looked like her--dark hair and braids--on the other hand, Wednesday might have had a doll without a head at all--I think I remember a "Marie Antoinette" doll--since the show had that dark, gallows humor!
I also think that at the very end of "My Three Sons" the little girl had a doll with dark hair, but no braids, as I remember.

Didn't Tabitha on Bewitched have a doll she talked to alot?

Alau...do you remember anything else at all about the show with the doll you are trying to remember?

On My Three Sons the young actress Dawn lyn (Dodie) had a doll named "MYRTLE" that was made by Mattel. Do a internet search and you'll find pictures of Mytle.

Maybe it was her evil twin :)

Mrs. Beasley doesn't seem like the type of doll, that little girls would embrace, but, my sister had one.
